Clean'Safe antimicrobial filing stationery in a medical environment

The new Clean’Safe® range of stationery products has been nominated for the ‘COVID-Secure Product of the Year’ award, which seeks to recognise innovative products that were launched during the pandemic.

The initial selection of Exacompta® filing and desktop accessories were created as a result of an increasing demand for creating a healthier working environment, whether that be in the office or at home.  Due to popular demand, the collection has now been expanded to feature new Clean’Safe® notebooks, with Clairefontaine’s premium 90gsm writing paper.

The raw materials used in the manufacturing processes are treated with an organic antimicrobial additive, which gives extra protection against the spread of bacteria, viruses, mould and fungi, eliminating them by more than 99.9%.  The range of filing is FSC®-Certified, whilst the Clean’Safe® desktop accessories such as the BIG-BOX desk drawer set, letter trays and magazine files include a 25-year warranty for extra piece of mind.

Lawrence Savage, Marketing Manager at ExaClair, states; “The health of our families, friends and colleagues has become a key issue that covers all aspects of our everyday lives.  Stationery products are handled on an everyday basis, causing bacteria and viruses to stick to their surfaces and multiply if left untreated. Especially for people having to combine working from home with going into the office, the Clean’Safe® range allows employees to return to work and share files without worrying about cross contamination.”

On reference to the nomination, Lawrence comments; “We are delighted to have been shortlisted for this award.  It is a testament to the hard work that goes into R&D and the manufacturing processes involved and it is exciting to have been a part of launching such an innovative product range.”

In addition to the Clean’Safe® range, Exacompta® ExaScreen PPE equipment was also introduced to help businesses adapt and maintain current social distancing guidelines.  The range provides a selection of protective screens, visors and masks, which are suitable for use within a comprehensive variety of office, retail and educational working environments.

More details about the range can be found here.

Mark Daisley Managing Director of ExaClair

ExaClair Managing Director, Mark Daisley, has been shortlisted for the BOSS Federation ‘Business Leader of the Year’ award. Mark has been nominated by his ExaClair colleagues for his efforts during what has been an unprecedented year.

In particular, the nomination highlights him for being a well-respected figure within the Exacompta Clairefontaine Group, as well as being an approachable, hands-on business leader who has been able to maintain high levels of employee motivation and support, especially during the pandemic.

As a result of COVID-19, various teams have been working remotely and his ongoing support has been invaluable for many employees. Largely due to the management procedures put in place by Mark, this has allowed the number of furloughed staff to be kept to a minimum, whilst ensuring productivity and efficiency is still at the heart of ExaClair.

Mark comments; “It’s an honour to have been nominated for such as prestigious award. 2020 has provided many unexpected challenges, but I’m extremely proud of how every employee within the business has pulled together to help navigate through these unprecedented times.”
