ExaClair Limited, the UK subsidiary of the Exacompta Clairefontaine group, are delighted to announce that Exacompta have been rated favourably in their first review from EcoVadis, who are a French organisation that carries out assessments in relation to a company’s Corporate Social Responsibility.
Established in Paris during 2007, EcoVadis has since grown to become the world’s largest and most trusted provider of business sustainability ratings, having created a network of over 90,000 rated companies globally to date. By combining innovative technology and CSR expertise, EcoVadis strives to engage companies with a view to helping them adopt sustainable practices.
During the assessment process EcoVadis take 4 key themes into consideration, including how the company impacts the environment, labour and human rights, ethics and responsible purchasing. They use their findings to award medals based on performance.
Exacompta have been given a 2022 bronze medal for sustainability, which places them amongst the top 50% of companies that EcoVadis have surveyed. For company ethics in particular, Exacompta ranked within the top 25% of companies within the paper and cardboard sector.
